To celebrate this year’s 30th anniversary of Heroes of Might and Magic III properly, we decided to manufacture an artifact that honors the legacy of this unforgettable game. This exclusive box with vinyl and score book is available for preorder only until November 30, 2025 – with no reissues in the future.
Heroes of Might and Magic III Piano Collections box includes a double 12-inch vinyl disc (180-gram white LPs) in antistatic sleeves. On those beautiful LPs, you will find 31 tracks created by Paul Anthony Romero specially for this occasion – these are unique piano arrangements performed by the composer himself. That’s not all: included is also a high-quality piano score book designed by Agnieszka Żogała. With over 90 pages and printed with special open-spine binding, this stunning book comprises sheet music for every track of this release, as well as liner notes. Both the vinyl discs and the score book are presented in a custom box embellished with convex golden dragons designed by Magdalena Katańska to create a prized artifact for the fans of Heroes of Might and Magic III and its soundtrack.
“Music for Heroes of Might and Magic III in the first stage of production was created as piano themes. Since I am a pianist, all the pieces were originally composed for this instrument” says composer Paul Anthony Romero. He adds that “This Piano Collections album is therefore a return to the beginning, an artistic turn towards the source, a journey to the time of birth of these themes.”
Paul Anthony Romero wrote all these piano arrangements specifically for Heroes of Might and Magic III Piano Collections. He then performed and recorded them at the Nowa Miodowa studio in Warsaw. Due to the extraordinary acoustic qualities of this place, listeners can now enjoy the musical feast of Heroes of Might and Magic III in its purest form. Composer selected the Fazioli F278 grand piano for this album. This brand’s pianos are featured at the world’s most prestigious piano competitions, and recording using this unique instrument was a special wish of Paul Anthony Romero.
